...this is uncomfortable! i was prescribed metrogel for bacterial vaginosis, the five day treatment. when i had only two days left, i started my period and i didn't use the metrogel the last two days that i should have. do you think the bv would have still cleared up?

another thing, from the metrogel i got a really bad yeast infection, and since i have my period, i really do not know what to do. my period is also VERY painful, and VERY heavy. do i have to wait for my peroid to stop to treat the yeast?

You know what helps me, since I seem to have a YI 24/7, I apply desitin (sp?) and it really works. I felt silly using diaper cream but it really protects the skin. I'd ask a doctor about treating it now or later but until then, the cream may help ease it a little.
