I see on this post that people are asking "what kind of IBS do you have"? Or I will see someone say "I have IBS D" What does that mean? And who tells you this? What is the difference?

NicoleMiller999 08-09-2004, 04:32 PM I see on this post that people are asking "what kind of IBS do you have"? Or I will see someone say "I have IBS D" What does that mean? And who tells you this? What is the difference? Sponsor aaronon 08-10-2004, 04:01 PM Nicole, IBS D is IBS with mostly diarrhea. IBS C is IBS with constipation. Some people have one, some people have both. Most often tho, they have just the one. Years ago, I had a good mixture of both, now I have IBS C. And, it's killing me right now. No relief anywhere. Gina NicoleMiller999 08-10-2004, 07:28 PM Again Gina to the rescue! Thanks for the clarification Gina aaronon 08-11-2004, 10:40 AM Your most welcome Nicole! It can get confusing, sometimes I feel like a doctor when discussing the things that are wrong with me. Gina, Fibromyalgia, IBS-C, RLS, TMJ NicoleMiller999 08-11-2004, 03:31 PM Sorry to ask again Gina But I too have TMJ and now I guess IBS C but what is the RLS? aaronon 08-11-2004, 03:49 PM Nicole, RLS is Restless Leg Syndrome. At night, or like me, anydamntimeitwants, I get the creepy crawly feeling like something crawling right under my skin, and if your trying to get comfy in bed, your legs might jerk, or like me...you get the pin ***** like feelings everywhere. It can be really bad at times and make you want to scream or cry. That alone will make you go insane. I've been thinking for years that I may be certifiable. hmmmmmmmmmm.... Gina, Fibromyalgia, TMJ, RLS, IBS-C, If I kept going on and on, the list would never end. |
