I am a 33 yr old female and I have Autoimmune Hepatitis. It's where my own immune system is attacking my liver. Lately wherever I have I.V.'s , I end up with blood clots there. I currently have 3 of them on my wrists. They have been there for about 2 weeks since my last surgery. Does anyone else have this?

lyme disease will mess with you in many ways including thickening blood. any biting insect will spread lyme.

Sounds like you might have phlebitis. I get it a lot after I have IV's. The vein just hardens. It will go away. Sometime different medications will cause it. I got phlebitis that went the length of my arm after getting some undiluted phenergan. But, like I said, it will go away.
