Wassup People!
I've been working out seriously now for about a year, and so far i am content with everything...everything except...My abs. I hate doing ab workouts, its the most dreadful part of my workout. But i do what i gotta do ...and i stick it through.
But i need help...Can anybody provide me with a fool proof abs workout regiment. I you can be so kind, please include reps, how many sets and how many times a week. I plan to start running as soon as i get back to school in a couple of weeks, i hear that helps alot !
My abs are the only things that's keeping me from hitting the beach.lol

Thanks Alot !

There's no such thing as a fool proof workout, especially when it comes to abs. The bigges factor to showing off a six pack is DIET. You can do crunches until you puke, but you wont see that muscle unless you have very little body fat. Doing 2-3 ab exercises once or twice a week should be enough to build the muscle. The rest is making them *visible*.

Abs are the hardest part to keep steady. You need to constantly be on a diet, watch what you eat as well as other things. Cardio is essential in getting the "legendary six pack" as well as ab workouts and correct dieting. You have to do all three to achieve this. This is one part of your body that you have to do those three. It's not either or when it comes to your abs.

For abs, I use an ab roller (It really does work!) and then an excercise ball at the gym.

Are situps helpful for toning/building muscles in the stomach area? I also exercise (jog) daily for 30 minutes so I burn the fat off. I've heard that situps aren't the best way (like on TV commercials) and you could hurt yourself... =.="
