I'm a 19 year old guy, and want to get my facial hair permanantely removed by the elllipse pulsed light method. has anyone had laser hair removal or pulsed light therapy and got anything to say on it?
Oooh, and just for your info, I started applying flax-seed topically last week and my skin is already looking so much more healthy! just incase ya wana try it

I had my first IPL Epilight treatment yesterday. Won't know any results of it for up to two weeks, it can take that long for the hair to fall out after the treatment. Unfortunately, it only targets dark hair, and I have a lot of thick blonde hair. However, I do have some dark hair, hopefully those will fall out.

I want to try that IPL Eplilight treatment for my whole face. I am light skinned and have dark hair! How much are they? And how long does it usually take?
Westendboi: You used flaxseed oil??? or powder? How did you do that?? Thanks.

I know in the UK, the price for a single epilight or ellipse treatment is something like 200 quid. Maybe more in London.
I take flaxseed oil orally morning and night. one tablespoon. Then, a couple of times a week, i splash a bit onto my face and rub it in and leave it there for as long as is practical (i.e. If I dont have to go out or anything lol)
it is improving the "healthy glow" no end. taste sucks, but washed down with orange juice, its easy enough hehe

I used to drink Flaxseed oil.. but then i havent really noticed much difference and have been debatin on whether I should take it again. I know that it works wonderful internally for other health conditions. But i didnt noticed it within three months..
Thanks for the tip. I'll see if applying topically will help.

Had my patch test for it today. The lady, who was soo nice, shaved some of my leg hair and zapped me with the machinel.
was quite painful, and she said it would be even more painful on the face. but im gona go ahead and book it now!

Crazy blue, I would not suggest getting IPL treatments done from an Eplilight, as it is a old and out of date model. It retails new for about $60,000 dollors verses $120,000 dollors for the new and improved models. Have you ever heard the saying "you get what you pay for" ?
