Hi, I wanted to know if you can get your period before you finish taking the pills?

Hi, I was taking progesterone, which is the same thing I believe. I was put on it to induce a period. I was taking 200mg at night for 12 days to make me have a period. My doctor said I could see nothing, spotting, or a full period about 3-4 days after I stopped taking the pills...however, I got my period after I was taking the pills for only 6 days. It started out as light pink spotting and then turned into a full period (at least the most of a period I had in a long time!) I was kind of curious about this because of what the doctor had said...so I called the office and talked to a nurse and she didn't seem to be concerned she just said to keep taking the pills because if I were to stop it could mess things up. I am only taking 5 pills of I belive its 50 mg. I hope I get my period. I do have cramping and I'm on my second day. Well see I guess.

yes you can get your period anytime during or after taking the Provera. I was put on it back in April because I never had a period in March. I started 3 days after taking it.

I started my period less than 24 hours from my first pill. It can happen anytime during or on average, 10 days after. According to my doctor.
