That means raising your HDL and lowering your Total about 10 pts each. Exercise and a lower fat (saturated fat) diet would proably do that. Having said that, I had a total of 250 and HDL of 60 (LDL was around 170) and went on a statin to get the LDL down. NineLives 08-11-2004, 01:32 PM I would try diet changes first. |
