I just got some of my lab work back. Can anyone help me to figure out somethings? I was told on the 30th of July, that i had AS, FMS and poss. IBD.. I had lab work done and the results came back yesterday: Sed rate -elevated; C-reactive protein - elevated; Rheumatoid Factor - Hi normal; Anti-Nuclear Antibodies - Neg.; HLA B-27 - Not present.....Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks Pam :bouncing:

Honestly I'm not familiar with a lot of the results but I do know an elevated SED rate means your body is in an imflamtory state. Rhuematoid factor is related to various forms of arthritis. The other's I'm not positive about.
As far as FMS in terms of Fibromyalgia, it can not be determined by a blood test it is determined by trigger point pain and ruling out every other possible cause.
