Well,

I have this weird pressure sensation above my eyes (around my eyebrows) and my forehead. I have no idea what it is! I went to the eye doctor and had an eye pressure test... everything was fine.

It does go away when I'm doing stuff I enjoy.. like baseball, working out etc.. but when I'm just sitting down doing nothing.. it notice it a lot.

I am on prednisone, but I have been tapering off for a few months, now I am down to 5mg every other day... could this be a withdrawl sympton?

I also have myasthenia gravis. Could this be a sympton of that, meaning its coming back?

Or could this be just stress, anixiety or just allergies/sinus? I am going to talk to my doctor soon. I just want to see if anyone has ever experienced this. btw it has been goign on for just over a week now. Thanks!

I don't think it is a withdrawal since you are tapering down the prednisone very slowly, which is important. It could be a sinus problem or allergies. Right now the pollen count is very high in some areas with ragweed coming in and some other late summer/fall weeds.
Have you tried maybe taking an OTC allergy med or sinus med to see if that is helps at all? If you start having a yellowish/greenish nasal discharge it's an infection or if you start running a fever you may have a sinus infection and definately want to get that looked at right away.

Thanks for the reply!

Well, Im not taking any medication for allergies. I don't have any nasal discharge (might get stuffed up once and a while, but that's it).

I'm wondering why it stops while im doing activities like sports? I'm thinking it might be stress, or my myasthenia gravis now..

I have a weird pressure in my forehead too. It is driving me crazy, I have had it for quite a number of years, it seems to be getting worse. I cannot focus, it is actually difficult for me to even be on the computer right now, so I will make try and make this quick. It feels like there is a weight on top of my eyes around my eyebrows. It feels weird, it is hard for me to explain, I cry every day because it is making me feel abnormal. It is like heaviness weighing down. I cannot focus I feel confused I cannot even barely read because it interfers. The light makes it worse, I walk around with sunglasses on all of the time. Driving at night is almost impossible. I feel like I am going crazy. I am married and I know that I am driving my husband crazy, cause that is all I talk about. I force myself to do everything. It kind of feels like that area is paralyzed and numb but it also feels like something pressing or weighing down on my eyes. I cannot take it anymore. It is making me go nuts. It is hard to have to deal with something that you don't understand, you know that something is there, you feel sick all of the time but it is something that is hard to explain. I wish that someone could tell me what it is so I can get it fixed. About 15 yrs. ago I started having panic attacks, and after that this started. I thought it was sinus related. I had sinus surgery and I still have the same problem. I had other sinus issues too. I dont think that surgery did anything to help me. They said that I had a cyst in my right sinuses, I prayed that that was the problem, but obviously it wasn't. My back is jacked up and my neck. I also have headaches almost every day. All of pain is driving me crazy, if I could pick one thing to be gone it would be this weird feeling in my forehead, eyes. My eyes have tested fine but it is like there is a weight pressing down around my eyes so it feels as if I cant see or focus to well. Please help
