 I think in the long run I will keep up the walking, jogging, not running at a face pace , I thought about walking one mile and jogging the other one, I walk now about three times a week 1-2 miles , I know you guys are walking more or jogging, any one start out walking and now all they do is jog, how much!! :bouncing:

i would recommend going at a pace that you can keep steady for the mile or two. Main goal is to try and keep your heart rate up and steady; That's the way to go if you are wanting to maximize your cardio. I would recommend getting one of those Heart rate monitors to keep track. Then work your way up to a lil bit faster as you are more used to the jogging.
Hope i could be of assistance!

I walk extremely fast (naturally, not forced). So walking is good for me :)

there is no such thing as a jogger you are just a slower runner. I have been an avid walker for years but quit there for awhile (long story) and have now resumed 6 months ago and have built up my body muscular and strength with stamina, now I have decided to add jogging to the mix.
I have felt so good I decided it was time, not something I planned mind you when I started to walk, but because it felt so good to do it I decided to go ahead and work on that since I am a walker anyway,
I plan on doing both. walking sometimes running sometimes and once I reach my goals on the running then I will have running days during the week and walking on the weekends with my husband.

I enjoy jogging (or erm, "slower runner" hehe), I do it every night about a mile - 1.5 miles.
