Hi
I have spinal stenosis, degeneration of the spine (arthiritis),I would like to hear from someone who has had an operation for the stenosis.
I had a disectomy 5 years ago, which did not go to well, a fragment of something was left behind which wrapped itself over a nerve and I am still having a lot of pain and soreness from that,I have had hip replacement 20 years ago which went very well but last year i had to have a revision, cant grumble about that.I am now waiting on knee replacement and also mri once again to look into the stenosis for doc to decide what he is going to do about it as there are a few nerves trapped and as you will all know painfull. I have been looking through messages and it seems to me that the people abroad (i am from england) gets more information from there docs then we seem to.does the op for the stenosis give you pain free, woild love to know what that feels like as it seems forever the pain I have been in ,I know from the message board I am not alone on this and would like to be able to talk to someone and maybe have a good moan lol,one does get fe up with people asking you how you are and you saying fine all the time as you dont like to come acrross as a moaner, will appreciate it if someone replies to this thankyou.
