Hello!
I recently had a physical. When I called for my blood test they told me they found one problem, and that was a high liver function. The nurse told me that the doctor wants me to go for a sonogram. She said that he likes to be over cautious. And also the result could of been from the type of test that was used.
I am not overweight. I am not a drinker and I am not on any medication.
I do, however, take a multi vitamin at night sometimes.
My eating habits are horrible due to an eating disorder.
I got a copy of my lab results and the BUN/CREAT ratio is 35
(Have no idea what that means.)
Should I be concerned?
thank you in advance!

you won't have high live function but raised "liver function tests" (a misnomer because they are no tests of liver function but markers of liver disease). this has many causes, eating disorders being one of them
