sheryltex 10-19-2003, 05:05 PM I am about to undergo cervical fusion of C5-C6 and I'm really nervous about it; can anyone tell me if they have had this; are you able to bend your neck up and down and sideways after you recover from the post-op time? Also, is it really painful afterwards? I'm just scared and guess I need some kind of reassurance. I have the very best neurosurgeon in San Antonio, so I'm grateful about that. THanks!!! Nanner 10-19-2003, 11:02 PM Sheryl, you might try over on the spinal cord board. That's where most of us who have had cervical problems hang out.
