I am currently on effexor xr 150 mg./day. Like most medications, it is not helping at all. I go to my doctor today, and I am sure she will start me on something else. She always has me grdually stop taking my current medicine. I have read some pretty bad things about coming off effexor. Any suggestions?????

Hi Shari, there's lots of info on my Effexor Do's and Dont's thread. Best advice is to go VERRRRRRRRY slowly - probably far slower than your Dr's going to advise you.
