I am feeling very low today having had a bad nights sleep. On Sunday night I went to bed at 11.30 PM and woke up when the alarm went off at 7.30 am. This was the first time I can remember in years that I slept right through the night. I hoped that it was going to continue, but it was not to be. Just in case I was getting compacent about my illness, I was thrown an awful night. the most I got at any one time was maybe 20 minutes.
I am really tired and low and last night did not help, and only people like yourselves can understand what I am going through. If I spoke to anyone else about this they would give that patronising look and tut-tut and say "ah well it will get better".
Anyway sorry for the moan and thanks for the support.

I have had those as well..and they sure aren't much fun! I take valerian( herbal supplement) to help me sleep. It does help me when I am in a bad stretch without the side effects that I had with the prescription drugs. I know what you mean about sleeping all night too...what a treat it is when it happens! I hope this sleeplesssness doesn't last long for you!

Go ahead and moan, tht's what we're here for. I lost sleep last night too. My son woke us up teething (he's 2 so it's not just crying anymore) at 1:30 and I couldn't go back to sleep. I would get up, do something, get really tired, lay down, no sleep. I finally dozed off for an hour this morning before my son woke up. I feel like a zombie and I'm really sore from the weather. Ugh. I have so much I need to be doing

I haven't got time for the pain....Andy

Hey,

I can't remember the last time that I slept all night long. I'm up and down so much, it's hard to believe that I make it through the day. Ya know, I'm glad that I found this board. It's so nice to be able to discuss issues that are taking it's toll on all of us.

I sometimes (when I remember), take Kava Kava....it supposedly helps you relax. It's over the counter.

Thanks for the support.
It is a great comfort to know that others are in the same boat. Even if the boat appears to be sinking at times. I did take valerian last night and went to sleep but awoke after two hours. The rest of the night was restless and frustrating. I usually have success with yoga exercises, but I was not able to relax enough to get into the breathing exercise.
Maybe tonight and meanwhile life and work have to continue.

Thanks Brend
