Is there a right way to store nail polish so that it doesn't bubble up as it's drying on the nails? Mine always look terrible because of it. Tell me what I'm doing wrong! :)

I used to store mine in the freezer. Don't know if it actually helped or not but I had heard it was the thing to do. You could try it. Other than that keep it in the dark. Certain lights cause polish to change colors. Good Luck!

I always thought the bubbles were caused by applying the polish too thickly and/or from not waiting for the first coat to dry completely before adding a second coat.

Greyblur,
I remember my grandmother always putting her polish in the fridge too. Her nails always looked good. :) I think I'll start doing that.

Blue-eyedBelle,
I'm definitely guilty of painting it on too thick and not waiting for the first coat to dry. I'm just going to make sure I have enough time to really make sure my nails look good so that I don't have to rush through coats.

Thanks for the replies! :)

Store your polish in a cool place away from any heaters or vents, and away from sunlight- when you polish- make sure that you are doing it in a cool area- any humidity or heat in the air will make it sticky

Thanks, Maak. I usually do my nails in my room, which is extremely warm all the time. I'll try another cooler room. I find that it takes forever for it to dry and even when I think it is, it's still slightly sticky.

No problem!
My best friend owns her own nail salon- I was having the same issues, and she is the one that advised this- it works! Good Luck!

I just redid my nails last night and it didn't come out too bad. Some nails still have those annoying bubbles, but I was in a cooler room last night so that probably helped. :)
