Hello
Im a 20 year old male in a monogamous sexually active relationship
I just recently (last 3 days) devoloped red spots on my penis. Alll 3 are on the head and 1 is slightly raised. It may also look like there is some spot developing on the foreskin. There is no discharge, no pain, no itching.
I went to the doctor and she said it might be herpes BUT she didnt know. It could be excema, could be a infection, could be herpes. She took a sample and gave me a prescription for some cream called Zovirax, which seems to be medication for genital herpes and herpes infections of the skin.
Im a bit worried but not. My Gf doesnt have herpes or n e thing and I've been faithfull. To have genital herpes doesnt that mean my genitalia must have had direct contact?
My other theory is that maybe i had sex with my gf while she had a mild yeast infection. That might have caused the rash. Are these symptoms of someone who has had sex with someone suffering from a yeast infection?
Please tell me your helpful insights or opinions.

What do you mean, the doctor didn't know what it was? Gee, that's comforting. You could have paid me instead and I could have given you the same answer, lol. Anyway, most people with herpes don't know they have it, so your girlfriend could very well have it and passed the infection on to you. It doesn't sound like you have herpes, though. Don't know what you have. That will be $100 :D

PHEER, I'm not sure, it could be any of the 3, but have you checked about HPV (genital warts). You can have protected sex and still get HPV. If she had any contact with your genitals to hers that wasn't protected, and she had a wart there, you can get it. And HPV does spread. Doesn't hurt, itch, or anything. (Most of the time) I suggest you go to a health clinic where they deal more with things like this. 80% of the sexually active population has a strand of HPV and it can lay dormant in your body for years before any symptoms develope. Go to a clinic and have them check you out for your well being and peace of mind. Best wishes and luck.
