Hey, what do you think??? I'm 21 and have golden brown wavy hair. I blow it straight everyday. I was watching this show on MTV yesterday where these girls try to "become" their favorite stars. The show yesterday was on girls trying to "become" Britney Spears. Well, I'm a HUGE Britney fan and I think she is so beautiful. I have always wondered how I would look as a blonde. Anyway, 2 of these girls had dark brown hair that they dyed blonde like Britney. They looked awesome!!! I would totally do it but, I'm scared. I want to see someone that has the coloring experience to give me a color that looks natural. Do blondes really have more fun?????

You should try highilighting your hair. My natural color is a dark brown but last November I did it for the first time. I love my hair with the blonde highlights. It makes you look totally different and also it brightens up your face. I was scared at first but I decided it was time for me to get a new look. So go for it. But I do recommend you get it done at the salon.

I agree with Tara. Go for the highlights instead of the all-over dye job. Highlights look a lot more natural. Go to a professional (salon) and have it done there.

I am naturally light brown haired, but I've been blonde for years!! I love it, I think blonde brings out your eyes and just brightens your look. But it can be just highlights, you don't need to commit to total blonde. Know what's good to do? Go to a wig shop and try on different shades of blonde so you can get a good idea what different shades look like on YOU. Then you'll know more what you want! Good luck to ya!

I am a brunette and have always had a blast and had no trouble getting men. I think that all women can be beautifull if they take care of themselves. Just do what makes you happy. Not all blondes are beautifull though, keep this in mind.

Also, 'Blondes having more fun' is a stereotype being propagated in TV. This is not true! Any woman can have equal amounts of fun whatever their skin color, race or hair color may be. Everyone is beautiful in their own way. What do you mean by having the most fun? Like being invited to the best parties and having all the guys drooling at you? Won't you require more 'arsenal' like wit, a sexy smile and intelligence to not just attract a man but keep him as well? Of course, I agree that hair color may influence a guy to assume certain things about you but being blonde is not the ticket out, contrary to what some very impressionable people may think, most have to work just as hard in order to succeed.

I was not trying to imply, "blondes got more men". My question had nothing to do with men. I just wanted to make that clear. I was just wanting to know if any women went from brunette to blonde and liked it better. For many different reasons, not just the male opinion. I just wanted to say that. Thanks for the posts.

Take it from me...having blonde hair is all fun and games until it gets so fried and overprocessed that it becomes fragile as bone china! Now, granted, I've always colored my own -- I have several friends who have theirs professionally done and they don't have QUITE the problems I do.
