 It was worse in some ways and better in other ways than I thought.
I went to sleep with the help of my usual meds but woke at 1:30 and had to pee and by the time the RT unhooked and rehooked me I was wide awake. I had wires everywhere. Down my PJs all over my head and the worst, up my nose and in front of my mouth
I gave up around 4 and asked if I could go home. She agreed it was pointless to lay there wide awake.
That's when the fun really began! My husband had put the chain on the door and shut the bedroom door and I couldn't get in the freakin house! I couldn't wake him but I think I woke up every dog in the neighborhood trying to get him up.
I had to beat on the bedroom window and he finally got up....and went to the front door....and back to bed! I continued to beat on the window until he got up again, and finally came to the back door but didn't open it. He just stood there staring out blankly...it's a good thing the dogs let me know he was there or I wouldn't have seen him!
I got in at last, and he went back to bed and back to sleep.....I don't think he ever actually woke up.
I had to pick up my niece at 6 and called to let her know I was on my way. She didn't make it to the phone in time but called right back. I had left to pick her up. She TALKED to him on the phone and he told her I was on the way....when I got back home he said someone called but didn't say anything.....
I think they tested the wrong one of us! :jester:
What am I going to do with him???!!! I think he may be the main reason I don't sleep soundly, I'm always on the alert! My niece lives with us but stayed at her Dad's because she said the house could burn down or burglars could come in and carry everything away including her and he'd never notice....she was oh so right!
The RT told me the doc might want me to REPEAT the sleep study...my heart rate dropped into the 50s and she thinks I have sleep apnea but I didn't sleep enough for her to be sure...does the fun ever stoppppp!!!!!
