View Full Version : blood in urine

My 52 year old sister has had { alot } of blood in her urine for 4 days.
When I say alot I mean turning the toilet water red and having blood clots.
She has already been through the change of life cycle and when trying to
wear a pad it has stayed clean. Only with urination is the blood present.
She went to the doctors on Tuesday. The doctor gave her a pap smear it
was clean so the doctor said the blood must be coming from the bladder.
They took a urine sample in which I just learned a few minutes ago was that
there is no bladder infection. She goes for a ultra sound tomorrow and
blood work. Does this sound like a kidney infection or kidney stones?
The bleeding just keeps getting worse she said there is more every time she
goes. She has no pain other than when the blood clots are coming out. I am
very worried and wracking my brains trying to figure out what this can be.
Any thoughts welcome. Baylee

It could be kidney stones. I hope all turns out well. Please keep us informed.

Just a update on my sister. Really not alot to upate. She had the ultra sound
and had her blood tested and goes to the urologist on Weds. They could
not get her in any faster. I will update on Weds. after we hear what the
urologist says. Baylee
