Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to let you know that i had my Leep today. It was NOTHING I worked myself up to thinking it would be.
I was very stressed and anxious for a month waiting for this day.
It lasted all of 15-20 minutes...my doctor was amazing and the nurse held my hand.
I felt zero pain, a bit of discomfort but that's about it.
I feel a little crampy right now, but nothing i can't deal with.
I just wanted to let all the ladies who are waiting to go have theirs done, to try and not stress your bodies over it...it's not a bad experience at all!
Just thought I'd let you ladies know!
Thanks

Wow you are brave I was asleep during mine. You will just have some bleeding for around 2 weeks.

Oh please believe me when I tell you I was not brave.
I would have opted for the choice of being completely asleep however I was under just a month before my Leep as I had to have my gallbladder removed. When it rains it pours!!!!
So my doctor and I thought it would be too much for my body to be put under twice in a month. the complications alone were not worth it.
I am very glad i did not go under as the recovery time would have been much longer. The day after my Leep, because I felt "o.K' but still took the day off to relax...well I cleaned my place top to bottom. I thought I was well enough to be up and around. Well I started to bleed rather heavily...and it has lasted for a week. Not excessive but enough to make me wonder whether I have my period (since I am due) or I am just bleeding from my procedure. I am wondering if this is normal...I mean I should know if I have my period or not.
Plus, on a much more embarassing note, I feel extremely "raw". Is this because I have been wearing pads for the full week?? I am accustomed to tampons only and wonder if I am just getting irritated from the fluids I am excreting....can anyone relate?
Sorry my post is so long and graphic but I guess my Leep was not as "easy" as I thought it was hours after.
Any feedback would be appreciated!!!
Thanks!

Yeah, I can relate to that! That is exactly how I felt for about 2 weeks. It will get better.
