I am jsut started to add strength training to my workout. I have researched it a bit and I think that I would like to do the push/pull routine rather then the upper/lower. Unfortunately I have been unable to find any routines taht are specifically for women. Can women do the same types of exercies as men? Also, since I am a beginner, I am going to use machines rather than free weights. Does anyone have a good routine that they have been using that could be of some use to me? I am really lost, yet don't know where to get help.
Thanks

Absolutely. Men and women do not train differently. Usually the only difference is in how much weight they use.

With machines, you're pretty limited to the machines you have available, so laying out a program should be fairly straight forward. I'm not sure what you mean by push/pull routine. Please explain what exactly that is...

Here is one version of a push/pull
Push
Dumbell squat
pushups
reverse lunge
Dumbell bench press
Bumbell overhead press
Tricep kickback
Pull
Deadlift
dumbell rows
dumbell pullovers
bicep curls
you can also find some useful info by googling for "push/pull routine"
