 Hi, I am a 24 year old Female who lives in Pennsylvania. I have tried just about everything to lose weight. 2 years ago I had to go to the emergency room because my blood sugar was 1100+. I weighed 395 lbs. After all that I lost 150 lbs and got down to 250 lbs. Right now though I weigh 310 and I'm afraid that I'm going to gain all of my weight back. Why is this so hard?? I feel as if I don't eat extremely much more than anyone of normal size and I gain it so easily. I don't want to die and I'm afraid if I continue down this road that I will die. I am a nursing assistant and some of our residents at the nursing home weigh 600+ lbs and I don't want to end up like this, especially since one of them is only 27 years old. I'm so scared that I'm going to have a heart attack or something. I've been diagnosed with type II diabetes, morbid obesity, copd, sleep apnea, hypertension, and I'm only 24 years old. I think I'm going to start Weight Watchers next month. Anyone have any tips for me?
Oh, also I don't like drinking water, does anyone have any tips for me on this? Thank you.

hang in there and keep trying! I am also overweight and I am older so its much harder. They tell me "you didn't gain that weight overnight so you are not going to lose it overnight". You might want to try overeaters anonymous.
About the water there are flavored waters out there or you can put a little lemon juice in the water. Good luck

Atkins...Read Dr. Atkins' book! I think you will find a lot of info. that will help a person like yourself. Refined carbs/sugars and definitely having a negative effect on you!! And water is essential for fat loss. No way around it.

Hope this helps!

dont give up.
as hard as it is... dont give up.
weight watchers is a great program to go to. i've been on and off weight watchers since my mom used to take me as a child. i owe them so much for teaching me how to eat. they teach you how to eat for life, not for a few months.
i havent had the money to go to weight watchers lately, although i wish i did.
the thing i like the most about weight watchers is the support group.
even if you dont feel like sharing, you can still sit in and listen, until you feel ready.
or even if you dont go to the meetings, just knowing they're there is a help (mentally).
a great thing to help you along the way is drinking lots of water (i know you said you dont like it...but...). you can either flavor you water with lemon or limes. or fruit 2o is a great substitute. It does have sugar in it, but it's a sugar substitute. It also has calcium which is a plus. it can get kind of exspensive because they dont sell it in big bottles, but if you can get a membership to something like sams club or cosco or something along those lines, buying it in bulk is a lot less exspensive.
anyhow, just a few tips for you.... if you ever feel the need to get an extra push or support, feel free to post here.
take care and good luck!
