Hello all!
I was just curious if you know of an excellent non-oily, effective eye-makeup remover? And also, do you know of a good brand of pantyhose that doesn't run after one use? (Not too expensive, please!)
Thanks a million!

I like Sage Advice's facial shampoo for an eye makeup remover. As far as panty hose, I rarely wear them and can't give you a brand name, but when I do wear them I find that the "support" type are pretty run resistant.

As someone who has to wear them all the time I find that Sheer Energy control top are the best. They last a long time and are not too expensive.

LOL, how to describe panty hose?! Um, they're sheer, flesh colored stockings attached to panties, sort of like tights.

I find that the Energizer brand of nylons does a very good job. They have very light support and they won't run easily. In Canada, you can get them for 7$ CAD, which is approximatiley 4$ USD.

Lamcome Bi-Facil eye makeup remover is the best. My second fav. would be by Marcelle, but it does not compare to Lancome's Bi-Facil....it's costly, but worth it.

Almay Eye Makeup Remover Pads in the pink jar. The ones in the blue jar are greasy. Pantyhose - Casual Corner's hose, absolutely the best!!

I use Huggies Baby Wipes - they are really cheap and work great!

I have never had trouble with removing makeup I always just used a gentle soap (like dove or oil of olay) and a kleenex or makeup pad (I find the makeup pads tend to slough off fibers and when these things are near my eyes I don't like that) and closed my eyes
I could remove most stuff with minimal scrubbing, and the good kleenexes are very non-abrasive.
I have had bad experiences with makeup removers, they invariably make my eyes burn, and if I use a good soap (even the jergens liquid softsoap) it doesn't make them hurt more, rather, less

Hi, Itty Kitty.
I use Maybelline Expert Eyes. It's a little greasy, but I like it. About the pantyhose....I heard a tip once, that if you put your pantyhose in the freezer overnight, they're less likely to run. And also, if you do get a run, hairspray or clear nail polish is supposed to keep it from getting worse. Hope that helps you out! :)

I use mary Kay eye makeup remover. I also am a cocktail server and have to wear a skirt and nylons. I found Haynes Resilience work great. As with any nylons though you still have to be carefull.

I have been using Ponds Make-up Remover and Cleansing Towelettes for about 6 months. They have no oil and take everything off very easily with no irritaion, even eye make-up and waterproof eye makeup. They are $5.99 for the initial supply (30) and the dispenser. Then the refills are $4.99 for 30 towelettes.

As far as pantyhose that don't run- good luck. I'm constantly scraping the bottom of my desk with my knee causing them to run. However, that said, I normally buy tights as opposed to straight up pantyhose because they tend to be thicker and don't run as easily.

I use Lamcome Bi-Facil eye makeup remover. It's the best, it's not greasy and you don't have to rub your eyes for it to work. It's the best. Costs a little more, but way worth it.
