Hi, everyone. This is my first-ever time on a message board, so be patient with me, please. I was diagnosed with fibro about 5 years ago, but can hardly remember back to a time when I did not have the symptoms. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you :) . Hopefully I can add some things, and be added to.

Thanks for the welcomes! I feel like I've read so many books on fibro-many of them contradicting each other. It's nice to read comments and suggestions from real people fighting the same fight that I am. My best and prayers to all of you!

No, it is not a good thing to have....but yes...it is a good place to come. You will find much compassion, understanding and kindness. There will be many days you will be in awe with how many people can relate to "exactly" what you are going through. With such few people who understand our condition unless they experience it....this is the one place you can be rest assured we feel and know what you are going through.

Hi and welcome.

I have only in recent times used this forum. I registered two years ago and looked in from time to time. I excluded myself by saying these people are sicker than me and I dont relate to what they are saying. This was, of course, me in denial in a big way. I now find the support here is a godsend for me and I wish I had not been so stupid for two years. It is so wonderful to be able to say how things are on a particular day without fear of being judged.

Anyway welcome and enjoy the support.

I had that same thought when I first came to this wonderful place...although I am glad that I didn't wait very long to join in...We do have a self denial tract, we Fibromites. Glad you find the support a godsend b/c that's how it feels to me too!
