Hi,
I have been using Epidermx microdermabrasion cream to help reduce the appearance of acne scarring. It is very effective but you have to be patient - the results aren't instant. You should be able to find plenty of information on the product by searching.
As well as the cream I have undergone three surgery grade microdermabrasions and the results they achieved were astonishing - for me it was like having baby skin again. It takes about a week after treatment for the irritation brought about by it to disappear and then the results are obvious. I am sure you could get it done just on your nose if you wished. I used the Bio Skin Las system. Good luck ;)

You can also try Mederma. It is OTC gel used with scar massage to reduce scarring. I have used it faithfully after an accident and my plastic surgeon is amazed at how well my scars have healed.
