freaked out

Hi,

This may be a little silly but I was wondering if someone could list possible harmful effects of quick weight gain. I've gained 17 pounds this month. I'm a fairly built guy but I went through a traumatic experience (thinking I had HIV) and my therapist says I have depression and shame. For the last month I haven't been able to go to the gym and I lie around a lot. I've been able to eat so I take comfort in the food. I feel like I have a cloudy head all the time too. I also feel like my legs are cramping up and I feel a weird sensation around my testicles and lower regions (allthough sometimes I feel like I make up the feelings). I guess this a disjointed post but if someone could help me out I think I would feel better knowing that I can go to the gym and lose weight and know that the stuff I'm feeling is most likely due to inactivity. Thanks GOD BLESS.
