I'm just curious. Does it right itself after a certain ammount of time, or is it a long process? It depends upon what is causing the anemia. If it is a temporary loss of blood, the anemia will recover after a while providing the body is otherwise healthy. If it is caused by a chronic on going condition, the anemia will not recovery but the symptoms can be minimized by therapeutic iron medication intervention. Other types of anemia must be addressed in other ways that only a hematologist can treat.
