liver tests can be altered by a few things. Alcohol, medications, illness, to name a few. I know it's hard waiting in the dark and wondering about this. Try NOT to worry, go to the appointment and then see what the doctor has to say. Good luck to you.

Hang in there. I know it's hard. I went through it to. I have a chronic Auotimmune disorder that raised my liver levels extremely high. I was very sick in the beginning. DOes his liver area hurt? Is it tender when he presses on his liver? Mine is due to the inflamation in my liver. My liver is twice the size of normal. I know you are worried, and it will be a hard wait. But hang in there as best as you can. Also - some people have elevated liver levels - and that is normal for them so there may be nothing wrong either.
