I went to my hearing yesterday, the vocational expert told the judge that there were no work in the national economy I could do. Do you guys think that I won based on that? The judge ended the hearing rather abruptly when she said that... fingers crossed... :bouncing: :bouncing:

It is impossible to say based on the limited information available over the internet. The Vocational Expert responds to a hypothetical list of specific impairments that is formulated by the ALJ (and also you or your representative). Generally the hypothetical limitations are based on statements or findings of physicians and psychologists that have treated you, evaluated you or reviewed your file. Although the VE may find no jobs based on a specific hypothetical, the ALJ does not have to accept the underlying medical report on which the hypothetical is based. If he rejects a specific doctor's report or findings then the ALJ must comply with the rules that mandate the analysis as to why he rejects the specific medical information.
Or the ALJ may accept the underlying medical reports which would validate the specific hypothetical, and validate the VE reponse which could mandate a finding of disability. good luck on your outcome.
