i saw what looks like little pieces of extra skin (2 of them and they are pink) around my bf's butthole.

he's never had anal sex. could this be anal warts or could it be skin tags?
he doesn't have anything like that on his penis.

They could be warts, or skin tags, or hemorrhoids, or something else. A doctor would have to take a look.

with genital warts it doesn't matter if you've had anal sex or not. genital warts usually occur around the anal area anyway. skin tags i heard were a good sign of warts...go get checked...

I also have anal warts (i think) I'm a female who has never had anal sex, but about 4 months ago i was told by my gynocologist that i have genital warts, then about a month after using aldara to treat my genital warts, i noticed warts around my anus. I am now using aldara for my genital and anal warts, and it really isnt helping the anal warts at all. They are getting worse actually. The aldara cream makes my anus itch and burn with is actually quite painful and annoying.

Hi scared student,

I heard that aldara is not for everyone. Maybe you should try the natural route: vitamins, exercise, and healthy eating. I also heard people are having great success with tea tree oil and those at home freezer kits.

-this stinks

Having warts means HPV infection. So don't have sex with him until u get green flag from ur health care provider. If u aren't infected with hpv until now there is a good chance of contracting it from your bf.

Have a look to at wart pictures

Hope u get some idea.

Thanks

Don't worry, keep on applying aldara. Hope u r applying the cream on the new wart locations also.

Aldara works on the area it is applied to. And mind u aldara has no connection to more wart eruptions. It is due the hpv infection u have and the your immune systems capacity to fight it out.

Boost u r immune sytem. It will help.
