I need help! I've always "shed" some hair here and there, usually after the shower. But lately, I have been losing sooooo damn much! I'm only 19, and it's really scaring me. I do color my hair, but i also try to deep condition it. I use a really rich conditioner every time I wash, but still! It's gross. Some people told me to take Vitamin A, however i have a feeling it has to do with coloring my hair and the state of damage it is in! Help me ladies, You all seem real knowledgeable...What should I do?

I had the same problem about 6 months ago. I'm 19 also, and I started loosing my hair because of all the damage. It has been colored, straightened(using a clothing iron), highlighted, bleached and re-colored...it was just a terrible mess...Make sure that you are not pulling your hair tight back in a pony tail or anything. Don't blowdry, curl, or any other kind of heat style for about 2 weeks. Go to wal-mart and pick up a bottle of INFUSIUM 23 leave in treatment. Every time you wash your hair for the next to weeks, drowned your hair in this treatment and leave it on until the next time you wash your hair. I promise oyu hair will be in soooooo much better shape after those 14 days. Avoid dying your hair anymore, and if you do, just make sure that you only do the roots. you might now have a cute hair style (I would suggest pulling it back very loosly in a low ponytail) for a couple weeks, but it will do wonders for the condition of your hair. good luck!!!

PS: I use the whole infusium line. shampoo, conditioner, treatment, and once a week, the deep treatment conditioner. I also use the infusium smmothing gel. My hair is a lot better now then it was 6 months ago. It is a little more expensive than others, but it is sooo worth it.

You might want to see a Dermatologist; or just talk to your primary care physician first.
