Hi, just wondering about perfect lift and firmalift products for the face. They make such wild claims that it's like a face lift in a bottle. I wish this were true, but if it was, we'd all be on it. Is there any cream out there that really helps diminish wrinkles. I stay out of the sun and wear sunblock everyday, but I still have 3 deep wrinkles on my forehead that are soooo ugly. Any suggestions?

Have you thought about Botox?

Yes, I've thought about it, but I thought botox was just for if frown or squint to help paralyze muslce. What if I am not squinting, would it still work? I might try frownies first before botox.

Unfortunately, Botox or face lifts are the only way to reduce permanently wrinkles. I personally would never do Botox because it freezes your face so you can't show how you're feeling on your face. Since I'm a kindergarten teacher/actress this would never do for me! Renova can show improvement over time for fine lines--but won't do much for deep wrinkles. Keep up the sunscreen everyday no matter what and make sure it has avobenzone, titanium dioxide, or zinc oxide as the active ingredient, otherwise it's not helping you at all. Sunscreen is the KEY to prevention of wrinkles
--not to mention skin cancer. Fancy moisturizers will do NOTHING to fix any wrinkle. Don't buy it! All of these companies are liars! Read any book by Paula Begoun. She exposes all of the beauty lies and frauds. It's life-changing and will save you thousands of $$$$$$$$$$$$. good luck!

But what about manual microdermabrasion cream? I've had about 20 people email me who bought on Ebay from a woman named Amy and they all tell me it's the next best thing to a miracle...but that it's not a miracle. 3 out of 20 said they have almost no wrinkles after using and the rest said it helped with freckles, skin color and smoothness..oh and acne. But the key is to use it for several months. Do you think this is a rip off too? It makes sense to me to sand down the layers of thick sun damaged skin to be able to get healthier cells to come out. I do wear sunscreen everyday (45) on face, arms and chest because I am only 37 and did have skin cancer removed twice already on my face...yikes!! THE SUN IS THE KILLER and my sister just had melanoma removed from her leg. We used to try to tan (but we'd burn) in southern Calif....worst thing you can do for your skin.

How awful!
Sorry about your and your sister's skin cancer problems. I know exactly how you feel. In regards to the cream, there is no mention of it in Paula Begoun's Beauty Bible. She talks about chemical peels and dermabrasion as helping to combat wrinkles. Maybe you should email her and ask. She is extremely knowledgeable in the beauty field. If she doesn't know, she will find out for you.
Take care. :)

I seen this thing called youth essence that comes with a cream and some machine with sponges and it cost $40, maybe you've seen it already I think I might get that to even out my skin tone.

Okay, here's an update on the manual microdermabrasion cream (now avail on ebay). No, I do not sell this...I bought some because people on other boards recommended. I've used it a little over a week and LOVE IT!! My skin feels so smooth and I can tell it's exfoliating the dead cells, because there is more of a glow to my skin. I've also had several people write me back and tell me they love it and it's helping with acne, skin tone, and some fine wrinkles. It's not a miracle...but I think next best thing to surgery. It does take several months to see a difference in wrinkles, but I am patient. Still don't know about infomercials..but found something I love!
