Hello...

About.. 2-3 weeks ago when I was checking my BP it seems I would get a steady 121/60-75 over and over, day after day. I just laughed when "121" for systolic popped up on the montior everytime. I was happy with that BP. But now, it is like 125-127/60-75 and sometimes like 128-135/60-75. Two to three weeks ago when I sat down to take my BP, it would be like 125-130/60-75 but then 3 min later it would usually be 121 or below. But latley it's like I can't get that low.. its always in the 125-130 range.

Why??

I haven't changed my lifesyle or anything... It seems like a subtle change, but i just can't seem to get it below 120 now, and it worries me. Can stressing about it cause it to go up for more than just whenever you feel you are over it? Can it last for days without really feeling it too much? I felt worried when I first started taking my BP today, but like 20 min later I felt I was pretty much over it and my BP was like 125/70 give or take 1 or 2... :S

And another question I have... Your body knows best on what it should be doing. So if one has high BP then shouldn't one need to have high BP? I've heard stories of ppl having HBP then suddenly it just stops.. they have <120/<80 now. Your comments please.

Thanks.

Your BP is fine. I'm sure the slight rise is anticipatory, meaning that you expect it to be high, so it is. Take it a few times at one minute intervals, and average the lowest ones.

My first reading is always around 160/100. But after a few times, I can get it down to an average of 136/83. Not great for a 27 year old, but it's the lowest I've ever seen my BP.
