hello to everyone once again, I am still waiting for alj decision in mail. The wait is starting to get me impatient. I phoned the oha a few weeks ago. I was told the judge had mad a decision begining of july. Now the decision is waiting to be typed. I contacted my attorney this week. he told me we have to be patient. He also told me not to call the oha anymore. Just be patient. I was just wondering how calling the oha will affect me. I figured I had the right to know what is going on with my case. Do I listen to him and not call the oha anymore? I would like to check on status again some time in Sept if I dont hear anything by then. Any suggestions.

If it helps as a reference... my hearing with an ALJ was third week of May, 2004, I just recv'd my "Fully Favorable" letter third week of August. So for me it took a full 3 months to hear from them.
Personally I would listen to the lawyer and be patient. My whole Social Security ordeal was very lentghy and at times seemed to be stalled to me, but was assured by my lawyers office that everything was proceeding at the normal SS speed.
Hope you hear soon.
