About once every 3-6 months I get a big puss filled pimple (actually more like a small boil) on the shaft of my penis.

It usually lasts for about a week till I can squeeze the puss out, then it goes pretty quickly.

I’m 37 y/o and have never had many facial pimples.
Could this be an STD of any kind?
It doesn’t follow any description of herpes ive ever read but the re-occurrence in nearly the same spot is a worry.
