I have enlarged turbinates and am choosing a cosmetic rhinoplasty. I was told the turbinates would have to be "resected" or reduced in a partial turbinectomy. Any experiences out there with this procedure, good or bad effects post-surgery? Was your breathing improved or worse afterwards?

Hi there,I had rhinoplasty and septoplasty and turbinectomy just 3 weeks ago.I had trouble with a constant dripping nose,my surgen trimmed the meat in my nose then straighten the cartiage and removed a lump on my nose.I must say that I'm still dripping but I guess I'm still 3 week post-op I have got a lot of healing to do.But going thou the experience was not what I expected so do some research before hand

 I had rhinoplasty 3 years ago, then again 12 months after. I am still suffering from a runny nose, blocked nose and breathing difficulties which I didn't have in the first place. I am waiting to see a specialist again. and I feel absolutely sick and fed up with it all.
