I have never really had nice skin in that it is porous and not very uniform in color. Now I have wrinkles to add to the mix at age 39 and would like very much to do something about it.
What are your suggestions?? I have heard about so many different procedures and am unsure which would be best for me. I know that ultimately I will need to consult with a plastic guy but would like some info before I go in. I tried glycolic facial peels but only got through 4 treatments vs 6 as I got pregnant right when I tried :) I did not really see much difference anyway.
Thanks in advance!

Hello,
You should go to a dermatologist- not a plastic surgeon hun. I am going to talk to one about dermabrasion- since I have already had skin cancer and anything on the surface should be exfoliated. Like you said- it takes about 5 treatments but is not severe like glycolic acid peels.
Check all of your options and see which would be best for you (:I talked to an asthetician yesterday and she said there are so many new procedures available now- so many new things so fast. But my first stop is to the Derm (: good luck!

Hello Jaded,
I just want to know why you are opting for dermabrasion and not laser resurfacing? Is it because u have an Asian skin type? Which doctor in which state are u going to see? Thanks, I am also considering that option. Your suggestions and any info from your research will be appreciated.

Hi Teddy,
I was told it would be the best for my skin right now since I have already had skin cancer- do not have many lines or wrinkles at all, and I have very white, freckled skin. I don't want to do anything as drastic as a peel- I get a bad feeling since I am so sensitive and am kinds afraid to go that route. WQhen I actually get the info from the derm herself- I will let you know what she says (:
