Or see if you can find a website that sells color and doesn't require you to give proof of a cosmetology licence. cinderhoo 12-08-2002, 10:27 PM hey...i love redken's color eq line. i have waist length hair, so it would costs a fortune to have it done every few months. there are a few places online that sells redken products. try doing a search for.hairmedic. C Celeste 12-09-2002, 07:50 PM I am a Hairstylist and i wish i could give you some good news, but the truth is the only place that you can buy the stuff from is from a Beauty Supply House. But without a liscense there is no way that you can get it. It is against the law for someone without a liscense to buy professional products as well as illegal for someone to sell it to you. And if you did get lucky and get what you needed you wouldn't know how to mix it. trust me, leave it up to the professionals. There is too much that could go wrong if you are not trained in how to do it. You could come out with two-toned hair, or worst, damaged hair. It will cost 2 or 3 times as much to have you hair fixed if you mess it up. But something you could think about doing. IF you have a beauty school in your area, you can go and get it done for a lot less. They usually charge half of what you would pay at a regular salon. Keep in mind they are students, and there is always a risk of mess ups, but they are less likely to mess it up than you would be. They have some training at that point, and are under supervison of a trainer. |
