Our little guys blood work came back "off" and we have a geneticist consulting on it. Well, he finally got back to us after a very long wait. It seems there is no metabolic disorder/chemical imbalance....how ever he still wants to see him to visually inspect him for "other" disorders. THat appt isn't until 10/21, though we are on the cancellation list. His other thoughts are that he has renal problems (kidney). We are waiting for a call back for an appt with them. :confused:

Any thoughts, experiences you want to share?

Please keep us posted on the results. I have often wondered if my son has kidney issues. I would be very curious to know your outcome.

we got a diagnosis today on the renal problems,

he has distal renal tubular acidosis :(

Toodles, I am so sorry that your little guy is having to deal with that. My prayers are with you and your family. It sound like a very serious disorder. What type of treatment options are there?
