Hi All,
I am a 27 year old blk female who has never done the facial moisterizing thing. My mother never did it, and never made a big deal about it, but i suffer from exzema and my face becomes a dry patch hell in winter time. There are too many creams and moisterizers to choose from and obviously i have to stay away from alcohol based astringents because of my exzema.
Is there anyone who can give me some correct advice about facial moisterizers and tell me a good brand to use. I have no wrinkles, but would like my face to not be sooooo dry and flaky now.

i'm no expert, but my favorite is mary kay timewise moisturizer. it does a good job moisturizing and shouldn't irritate your skin (fragrance and oil free.)

my favorite is vaseline, every night before bed I apply a light coat of petroleum jelly on my face, it takes off any stuck on eye makeup and leaves my face soft. you may think that it would make your skin greasy but when I wake up in the morning the vaseline is gone and my face is just soft. but some people my not have the same experience with it that I do, of course every person is different. :)

Hi,
I am an estheticain and do alot with skin care. It is hard to say what exact moisturizer is best, but try looking for something that has collegen. It really works well. Hope this helps!

Hi,
I really think that you should try something that contains collagen. It is an excellent moisturizer. You can talk to someone at a beauty counter for an exact name but remember they are out to sell products so dont think the more you pay the better the product! Hope this helps!

i use mild cleansers and good moisturizers. while the skin is damp apply a moisturizer to lock in moisture. i buy Evian water in the spray container in the cosmetic dept. of the drug store and spray it on before applying moisturizers. drink enough water also.
