I have one of these Fibromas on the front underside of the lip from being biten. It is getting large enough it is hard not to keep biting it, but I really hate to see another dentist--Ive been at the dentist more often lately than not. It has been there about a month and a half at this point though, and I'm scheduled for other non dental related oral surgery (cosmetic type) at the end of the month and would like it gone by then. My general dentist says they usually excise them, and sometimes they get larger and sometimes they go away, if you can keep from irritating them further. Any one have any experiece with these? I would like to know if there are ways I can speed the healing on it if possible, or if I'm going to have to see an oral surgeon for this. My general dentist doesn't do that sort of work.
