I wanted to know which are the best available hair straightners theses days?I have never used one and was thinking of buying one.Plus i wanted to know that using it weekly wont damage my hair will it?or can i use it as often as i like?thanx...

hi the best straightners ive ever used are by "good hair day". i dont know if you can get them in the US but in the UK they're about £95 from hairdressing salons but they really are the best you'll get. they heat up in seconds and leave your hair cardboard straight after only one use.

i have a 'hot tools' professional hair straightener that i love. i bought it at a beauty supply store and it only set me back $30.
technically anything we do to style our hair will damage it to an extent...but i wouldn't worry overmuch.
i think it depends on your hair texture, how much processing you have done, and how often you wash your hair.
