i filed for my ssdi and was denied last year so i got a s/s lawyer.I got a letter
from her today saying i need to go to the social security office and get a copy of my earnings record and bring it by to her. Could someone tell me if this is a good thing (in my favor) or why she needs this info.

Hello Bambi.

The way i won my ssdi was by getting ALL my medical records and x-rays. Also get whats called a capisities report this tells what you are able to do and not do and for how long. Just remember the more documentation you have the better. Also i hate to say it but you have to do as much leg work for the lawyer sa possible (i know it doesent seem right but i found it better that way) also keep copies of ALL the reports and x-rays.

Hope this helps some

Dont let them win, I recived my ssdi on the first try from all the documentation i had

Rob
