Hey guys!!
In the morning when I don't get enough sleep, My eyes are so puffy and they feel incredibly puffy.
Mostly my upper eyelids. Sheesh!
So does anyone know how to de-puff them?
And does anyone know how to put more earthly toned eyeshadows(brown) on without making it look too dark??
I wan't a smoky eye, but not so it looks like a clown.
I love the color brown! any tones of it.

Not sure on the eyeshadow questions. I'm a redhead so those smokey eyes don't go to well on me lol..
I've heard that Preperation H can get rid of puffiness instantly. Some people swear by it! I've tried it once and it took care of the problem, but my eyes weren't super puffy that day. I'm going to try it again.
You could try putting a spoon in the fridge before you go to bed. When you wake up it'll be nice and cold. Then you use the back of the spoon on your eyes to cool down the puffiness.

I had the same problem with my eye lids being very puffy after i got up in the morning so i bought a eye mask and put it in freezer and put the mask on and that worked like a charm for me. U only have to have mask in freezer for 15 minutes. I have also tried the spoon thing and that worked well too. Good Luck!!!

Hi there...I am new to this board so "hi!!" Anyway, the cold spoon, eye mask, an ice cube wrapped in a thin towel, or anything cold helps to de-puff... I know 'cause I am always puffy!! Also, I have heard salt retention can cause this, and/or allergies, or sleeping with your head to far down, so try to sleep with your head elevated a bit more, don't eat too many salty foods before beds, and see if you have any allergies!
HTH!

As far as the eye shadow thing goes ... When it look too dark or heavy, put an irridecent shade over it. I usually use a really light silver to lighten my eyes up and make them look smoky.

for puffy eyes i like Ponds Cucumber Eye Pads for about $9. you can find them in the market or drugstore. fresh cucumber slices work also. chamomille tea bags over each eye work too. for eyeshadows you have to get the right kind of brushes. get a thin shadow brush so you can get close to the lid and under the bottom lashes. just use liners and shadows from the middle of the eye to the outer eye. apply lightly and go over the color as many times to get the right shade. cosmetic sponges work good to blend make up and if you use your finger the ring finger is the most gentle and doesn't pull skin.
