Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if you all could give me some of your own opinions about foundation and wrinkles.

First let me say that I love makeup. I am 31, and have a few fine lines, nothing too serious, but do buy a lot of face cream. LOL

My problem seems to be that when I do wear foundation it seems to intensify my wrinkles. It creases in the fine lines. Therefore, I dont wear foundation at all.

Do any of you see that happening when you put on your foundation? And if so...what are your solutions to prevents that?

Thanks
Sinnrah

I have that problem also! What works for me is putting some concealer on top of my foundation wherever the problem is or to use some pressed powder over that area. Usually this fixes it.

I have found by applying liquid foundation on wet face it does not cause wrinkles to show. Actually end up with a light coating which makes face smooth but not caked on to crack at wrinkle areas. When dry, apply loose powder, brush off with hands lightly.

Foundation of any kind is the worst thing to apply for almost any skin type, unless your skin is perfect and then you would not need it anyway. It only serves to emphasize any and all problems with your skin and makes it look very artificial. Everyone can tell when yu are wearing a foundation and far from making you look better it only makes people wonder what flaws you are trying to hide. Unless your skin is horribly scarred and disfigured, foundation should be avoided, in my opinion.
