 This may sound like an ignorant question, but how do I tell when I'm ovulating. I am trying to have another baby, and I haven't had any luck so far. I got off the depo shot in April, after having just one injection. I bled continuously from January, when I got my first shot, until the end of August, and I have not bled since then. Therefore I cannot tell by having a period when I am ovulating. Is there any other way?

You can tell I know by monitoring your body temp everyday of the month. Most women's body temp goes up when they are ovulating. You can use the basal body thermometer (BBT) kit , not sure how it works just read about it never used it or knew anyone who has. I do know you should check your body temp same time everyday to get an accurate result. Chart your results for a month or two and see if it is the same. Hope I this helps Good Luck. Keep me updated

You can read the book Taking Charge Of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler.
Also it can take a while for your body to adjust after being on Depo, even if you only had one shot. If you dont get a period by the end of this month then talk to your doctor and explain what is going on. Make sure to let him/her you are ttc.
Do a search of the women's sexual health board and the women's health board and you will find several posts about Depo. Your doctor or whomever you got the shot from should have told you it can take anywhere from 3 to 18 months for your fertility to return after stopping Depo and yes that can even be after just one shot.
