For all those who have had the surgery, what was it like? How long did it take for you to recouperate? Are you still having problems after surgery? Do any of you have both CuTS and CTS?
I ask these questions because I have CuTS and am now showing signs of CTS. Both are in my right arm. My left arm was just 1 point from being considered CuTS when my EMG was done about 2 years ago. Eventually, I will have to have the surgery. Please share your experiences (good and bad) with me.
Thank you so much! :)

After a whole year I'm still recovering, I had both on the left hand, cts surgery on the right in 2001 but it is back. It was not a pleasant recovery, it was not successful and it left me with my ulnar nerve damaged. I have sausage feeling fingers on the ring and middle with intermitent electrical shooting pain that runs from the fingers in to the wrist as well. Now this is a rare happening and I know of people who had a successful cts and cubital surgery so you may expect a good outcome. I had other nerve problems and spine problems that made this so unsuccessful. I ended up with RSD in both hands and arthritis set in. I didn't want to scare you but that was my experience and I think you will find more success than not.
