Hi,

I'm a 20 year old virgin who has never had sex, yet I have a boil (somewhat of a blister I guess) that is on the inside of my vagina (on one of my lips) and when i press on it, it disappears. It doesnt have a head, but it does swell up from time to time. I was told to use Campho-Phenique to see if it would at least make a head, dry out. or burst on it's on, but all it did was make it more red, itchy, and swollen. Sometimes it would hurt to open myself up, but in the past few days it hasn't given me too much trouble. It does not hurt or burn when i urinate.I haven't been to a doctor or gynecologist, but I know for sure that I have some symptoms of a yeast and bacteria infection (sometimes cloudy discharge and a strong fishy smell.) Could this infection or blister be a part of this? If so, what would be the best way about gettin this solved?

Thanks for your help in advance

It sounds like just an infection. Sometimes fritction or other things can cause boils like you're describing (I've had one before that had to be lanced and drained) and it could very well be a part of a bacterial vaginosis or something. It is possible to contract HPV without intercourse if you've had alot of genital to genital contact without penetration.

The best course of action for either scenario is get to a gynocologist. They will be able to diagnose and treat it in no time.
