I am getting very desperate for some help so I hope some of you could give me some insight. I am 25 and already having back problems. It all began in late June when I got severe pain in my left arm accompanied by numbness in random spots. After seeing two doctors, the first didn't help me and soon the pain crossed to the right arm, i was diagnosed with tendonitis. I have been in more pain than I thought possible with that alone. Some of the pain has subsided in the arms but numbness remains.
Now I have realized my whole left side is numb. Right down the left side of my spine, my butt, my legs, shoulder....everything. The left side of my butt when I sit is numb but hurts too.
I have been to the chiropractor before for some therapy regarding my left shoulder and hip rotating forward. You can see plain as day that my shoulder is rotated forward, I have no idea why.
I had an appointment with a neurologist....IN OCTOBER!!! I just couldn't wait so I went from doctor to doctor until one got me in sooner. So now I have an appointment this coming Friday. I had an MRI on my brain last Friday. The neurologist ordered that before he sees me, I guess to give us a head start. I have also had an MRI on my cervical spine and nothing came back that could be causing the problem, just a little narrowing of the canal and a small vertibral size difference. The doctor said none of that was extensive enough to be causing the problem.
Just from reading on the internet I have gathered that, if I am not dying, it could maybe be that I am sitting on my siatic nerve too much at work? Or maybe the shoulder and hip rotation could cause all this numbness?
I am lost and desperate, if anyone has had similar simptoms or heard of anything like this please give me insight because I am in so much pain and worried to death. Heather
